Terracotta Suit Styling: Desk to Dinner Transition for Thanksgiving Week

Hey loves! It’s Thanksgiving week, which means you’ll be navigating the work week leading up to the festivities and everything in between. This calls for a fashion game that can seamlessly transition from the desk grind to a festive dinner soirée.

Today, I’m letting you in on my style shenanigans as I rock a fabulous terracotta suit. Now, this color might feel a bit intimidating to dive into, which is why I bought these pieces from Primark. Yes friend, Primark. Wild, I know. What can I say, I wasn’t ready to commit to an investment piece.

Why terracotta, you ask? Well, it’s Thanksgiving week—a time for warmth and gratitude, and this color just speaks volumes. It’s like wearing a hug, but make it fashionable.

Desk Slay

For the 9-to-5 hustle, I’m strutting in this double-breasted twill blazer and straight-leg button pants in Terracotta, paired with a classic ribbed turtle neck in Black. It’s giving off major boss vibes while keeping it stylishly stealthy. You can’t go wrong with some heeled loafers but of course, mine were patent leather to bring out the shiny black and gold buttons.

Dinner Switch-Up:

As the day rolls into evening plans, I'm swapping the blazer and turtleneck for a flirtatious black blouse. Because, let’s face it, we all deserve a little romance, especially during Thanksgiving week.

Accessories? Oh, honey, that's where the magic happens. I bought this lovely floral, black lace choker pre-pandemic (don’t worry I found a close one, below) and it still steals the show. This staple Brandon Blackwood bag is a must. For shoes, I’m leaving the loafers at the office and strutting into dinner with some elegant black booties.

This week is all about feeling the Thanksgiving vibes, and my terracotta suit is here for it. As you gear up for the holiday whirlwind, let this outfit inspire your own style escapades.

Stay tuned for more of my antics in the "Desk to Dinner" series, where style is the name of the game.

Wishing you a heartfelt holiday season!
